But when I lived in NYC, my girlfriend really wanted to try weed (she wasn't from the US, grew up in a sheltered family, and very badly wanted to see what it was like), so we got the phone number of a drug dealer in Manhattan and called him. They actually delivered! Like, to your door. This was around the time that there were start-ups that would deliver DVDs and hot cookies to your door, too (needless to say, we had all kinds of deliveries that night).

Anyway, my friend was so terrified of being arrested for smoking pot that when the drug dealer rang the doorbell, she actually hid in the closet. I thought briefly about faking a police raid, but didn't want to have to clean up if she ended up pissing herself.

Thinking back, that's one of the only things I miss about living in Manhattan.

Stretching the concept of evolution to include genetic engineering is kind of reaching. Really really far.

And equating genetic engineering -- in which scientists insert genes from one species into an entirely different species (and even worse, crossing the barrier between the animal to plant kingdom)-- to sexual reproduction is pure speciousness.

Please don't bandy about words like 'logic' if you don't know what they mean.
